All of our toys are made with wood from sustainably farmed hardwood trees. We use only woods that meet Canadian Standards Association's "Sustainable Forest Management Standard".

As a finish we use certified organic walnut oil or flax seed oil, and we never use paints or dyes on our toys. The colours you see are the beautiful natural colours of the woods. Please note that the grain and colour of the wood in each item may vary slightly from the pictures shown.

Hardwood Baby Rattles $16.00
Our beautiful hardwood baby rattles are handcrafted with love by us in our home workshop in Southern Ontario. Each rattle we produce is completely unique.
The rattles make a lovely soft sound, and their size is just perfect for Baby to grasp. This rattle is made from beech and walnut. We are sure that you'll love the warm, gentle tone of this rattle. It's nothing like the harsh sound that plastic rattles make. We have sanded the rattle until it is satiny smooth so it is safe for Baby to chew on. In order to bring out the gorgeous colour of the woods, we have finished the rattle with certified organic walnut oil. Walnut oil has been a traditional finish for children's toys for centuries. The rattle is approximately 12 centimeters (4.5 inches) in length.

Baby Teething Rings in Rock Maple $11.50

Our maple teething rings are handcrafted with love by us in our home workshop in Southern Ontario. Wooden rings are a great natural alternative to the various kinds of plastic teething rings on the market. Baby will enjoy having one of these to grasp and chew on, and Mom and Dad won't have to worry about chemicals leaching as with plastics. These rings are sanded repeatedly until silky smooth. In order to bring out the grain of the wood and protect against moisture, we finish the rings with certified organic walnut oil. Walnut oil has been a traditional finish on wooden toys for centuries. Approximately 8-10 centimeters (4 inches) in diameter.
