FreeHand Baby Carrier (SSC)

It's the perfect carrier for your customers who are looking for a structured carrier with the forward facing or newborn option, but also want a sleek AND comfortable carrier that will work with a growing family. The FreeHand is available in black, espresso, navy blue.

The FreeHand functions as a front or back carrier, facing in or out, from birth through toddlerhood, and is comfortable, lightweight, and easy to use. The new FreeHand will also come with a black FreeHand Universal Headrest.

Features and Benefits

1. Padded headrest - fold it down when baby is facing forward, fold it up to support a newborns head.

2. Sternum strap slides up and down on the shoulder straps; reach around and pull up or down to adjust.

3. Cross Over Support StrapsTM help to pull your baby close to your body. Make sure these are tight.

4. Older babies legs are supported by the Cross Over Support StrapTM. Their legs rest on top of the straps.

5. Padded Waist, wear around your natural waist.

6. In the newborn and forward facing out positions, babies feet and legs come out of this opening, between the crossover strap and body of the carrier.

Note:
The Forward Facing Out (FFO) option is never recommended for a long period of time, and never when baby is sleeping, however, the FreeHand does allow for a safer FFO option than other carriers on the market. This is because of the Cross Over Support Straps. When baby is FFO, the Cross Over Support Straps cross along the babies belly, pulling the center of their body toward the parent, encouraging a more seated position. There is very little pressure on the pelvis because most of the weight of the child is carried through the cross over straps.

The FreeHand carrier was designed to fill the gaps that other SSC's leave open. It works the same as other SSC brands on your back and with an older baby, but is totally unique for the newborn without an insert feature that doubles as a FFO option for older babies.
